Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois... Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Whiteside and Henry IL Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Cedar Bluff. * WHEN...From late Friday night to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water begins to affect access to the Sutliff Recreation Bridge. The lowest sections of West Rochester Ave north of West Rochester Road are also affected by water, limiting access to residents in the Rainbow Valley Subdivision. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.4 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 17.8 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
