Heat Advisory issued June 29 at 2:51AM EDT until June 30 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ * WHAT...Heat index values up to 100 expected. * WHERE...Western Monmouth, Middlesex, and Somerset Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 7 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some showers and thunderstorms especially during Sunday afternoon will provide local relief from the heat. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
