Storelk Mountain Weather Warnings

rainfall warning in effect Heavy rain will begin today, with total amounts of 50 to 80 mm. Areas in the foothills will see heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms begin by Thursday afternoon and intensify through the evening hours. The rain will taper off Friday morning. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
