Fire Weather Watch issued July 1 at 2:09PM PDT until July 4 at 8:00AM PDT by NWS Medford OR ...Gusty Northeast Winds and Poor Humidity Recovery for the Ridges of the Western Siskiyou National Forest Wednesday Night... .Gusty northeast winds on the ridges of Curry, far southern Coos, and western Josephine counties will develop on Tuesday night, weaken slightly during Wednesday, then strengthen again Wednesday night. Humidity recovery on Tuesday night will remain above critical thresholds, but poor humidity recovery is expected Wednesday night. The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly, even at night. Outdoor burning is banned. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 619 and the western portion of fire weather zone 620.
