Special Weather Statement issued June 27 at 11:07AM MDT by NWS Billings MT At 1107 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Harlowton to 23 miles northwest of Big Timber. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Harlowton, Melville, and Twodot. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
