Red Flag Warning issued July 1 at 2:22AM MDT until July 1 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 492 Central Utah West Desert, Fire Weather Zone 495 Color Country West Desert and Fire Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert. * WINDS...West-southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are likely to occur. Any new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
