Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 27 at 9:43PM CDT until June 27 at 10:30PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX At 942 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 4 miles north of Forgan to 6 miles southeast of Hardesty, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include... Perryton, Beaver, Booker, Forgan, Follett, Darrouzett, Hardesty, Gate, Knowles, Elmwood, Adams, Boyd, Floris, Bryans Corner, Baker, Mocane, Turpin, Slapout, and Balko. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Flood Advisory issued June 27 at 9:10PM CDT until June 28 at 1:15AM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of the Panhandle of Oklahoma, including the following counties, Beaver and Texas. * WHEN...Until 115 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 910 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beaver, Forgan, Hardesty, Knowles, Floris, Boyd, Turpin, Mocane, Baker and Adams. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
