Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. Cedar River at Cedar Bluff affecting Cedar, Muscatine and Johnson Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Vinton. * WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural and low land flooding is ongoing. Water affects much of 22nd Avenue Road northwest of Vinton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.6 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 15.3 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
