Missouri River At Decatur affecting Thurston, Burt and Monona Counties. Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties. Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Fremont and Otoe Counties. Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Cass and Mills Counties. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Pottawattamie, Sarpy and Douglas Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa... Nebraska... Missouri River Near Blair affecting Pottawattamie, Washington and Harrison Counties. .Timing remains mostly unchanged, but forecast crests have generally slipped to some degree. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Missouri River near Blair. * WHEN...Until late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 33.5 feet, Water reaches levels not seen since the flood of 1952. Major flooding will be occurring from Blair to Fort Calhoun. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 31.2 feet...or 4.7 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 31.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 26.5 feet. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
