Missouri River At Decatur affecting Thurston, Burt and Monona Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Decatur. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Local marinas, boat docks and low lying areas begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 36.4 feet...or 1.4 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 37.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 21.3 feet Sunday, July 07. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. Little Sioux River Near Turin affecting Monona County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Sioux River near Turin. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Flooding may begin near the mouth of the river downstream of Interstate 29. Upstream of the Interstate the river is contained within the levee system. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.6 feet...or 1.6 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 27.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue falling to 15.9 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
