Upstream of the Interstate the river is contained within the levee system. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 26.6 feet...or 1.6 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 27.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue falling to 15.9 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
