Cedar River at Cedar Bluff affecting Cedar, Muscatine and Johnson Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Cedar Rapids. * WHEN...From this evening to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.2 feet, Water affects the lowest sections of C Street SW near Prairie Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 14.2 feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
