Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Pottawattamie, Sarpy and Douglas Counties. Missouri River Near Blair affecting Pottawattamie, Harrison and Washington Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Missouri River near Blair. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Industrial companies along the river near Blair begin to be significantly impacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 31.5 feet...or 5.0 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 32.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday evening. - Flood stage is 26.5 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
