Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Jackson, Ray and Lafayette Counties. Missouri River at Waverly affecting Saline, Carroll and Lafayette Counties. Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Buchanan, Andrew and Doniphan Counties. Missouri River at Leavenworth affecting Platte and Leavenworth Counties. Missouri River above Parkville affecting Platte, Wyandotte and Leavenworth Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at St Joseph. * WHEN...Until Friday, July 05. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream from St. Joseph occurs. At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri. At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood. At 24.0 feet, A residential area in northwest St. Joseph begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:35 AM CDT Friday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.6 feet early Wednesday morning.
